Who are we?

AGRIOS EL CARRIL, SL was incorporated as a limited company in November 2000, with the joint purpose of standardizing, packaging, preserving, marketing, and selling its partners' products. Thus, and leveraging the experience and knowledge that GRUPO DURAN and GRUPO FUERTES have acquired over the years, together with a group of agricultural producers, our company was established. Recently, GRUPO ROCA became part of the company, adding volume, experience, and new horizons. Our company, located in the privileged area of Santomera in southeastern Spain, is sustained by approximately 2,100 hectares of its own production, exceeding 50 million kilos of citrus fruits, with lemons being our main product, with which we have extensive experience. Currently, we are expanding our horizons with new products such as stone fruit and exotic fruits, with a current production of 5 million kilos, making us the largest papaya producer in Europe. This growth is accompanied by the greatest achievements in quality to guarantee all the standards required today.

Facilities

Our facilities are located in Santomera (Murcia), close to major ports and airports. This helps us with logistics. Our warehouse processing uses two complete production lines specifically designed to manufacture the different types of packaging required to satisfy our customers. Each line has the capacity to process 35,000 kg of fruit per hour. These lines grade the fruit using SPECTRIM-CIIR TOP VIEW vision systems. This system utilizes the most powerful industrial platform in the industry, which uses images of the fruit to monitor size, color, and defects. Our warehouse is equipped with advanced technological systems to ensure the best possible processing of our products. It also has a comprehensive traceability system that allows for complete control of our production.

Farms

Our plantations are located in Murcia, Alicante, and Almería, special locations where the climatic conditions allow us to grow the finest fruits, especially lemons, clementines, and oranges. These privileged microclimates, combined with cutting-edge agronomic methods, allow us to optimize production processes and practice rational agriculture that always maintains the utmost respect for the environment.
